We stayed in Castle Apartment at the end of October 2009. The apartment was clean and tidy, excellent central heating which is handy in Scotland, cosy and well equiped for everything you need for a comfortable stay (the beds were divine). An excellent base to explore Edinburgh from and the view from the window is amazing. Highly recommended (4/5)

We stayed in the Castle Apt for 2 nights in September 2009. The owners kept in close contact to ensure they knew our arrival time and were extremely helpful with directions. Tina was there when we arrived with fresh milk and shortbread biscuits an excellent touch. The Apartment itself is modern and has a homely feel about it. A selection of books/games/dvds are on hand which were fantastic to have. Tina was helpful in directing us to the best food locations and the local farmers market that ran on a Saturday monthly. I would highly recommend Castle Apt for the excellent service and price and location! Will definitely be returning!!! (5/5)

Best location for exploring Edinburgh. Central, near bus routs, easy walking, close to all sorts of historical sites. Apartment clean and comfortable. Hot water the only issue as the boiler played up. (4/5)

Excellent location, livingroom and bedroom are good and spacious, bathroom and kitchen need some maintenance. (3/5)

This was exactly what we were after. An apartment very close to the centre of Edinburgh with all relevant amenities. Above all well managed by two great hosts. (4/5)
