They teach you everything you need to know and at your pace! I would recommend to anyone learning to drive!! I passed my test first time and i believe that that was not only my doing but also my amazing instructors work! Go an learn with them, they wont let you down ! (5/5)
by Kris Cairns (Edinburgh) on 30 May 2012I had all my lessons from Female Driving Instructors. I was really nervous as I has some lesson with a different school and they were awful. Amanda, Diane and Christine made me feel so comfortable and calm. When I grew in confidence I still felt like I was learning new stuff. If I felt like I was having a bad lesson I was made to feel reassured that the next one would be better and so it would be. I would take everything I learned and transferred it to my own wee Micra I bought to practice in. I had my sisters fiancée to help me. I could not have passed my test especially now I have my dad registered disabled so he needs to have a car, and I could not have did it without these lovely ladies. Amanda, Diane and Christine you guys were awesome. (5/5)

THe instructor was very patient with me and extremely professional. I was very pleased that she was female too - I was definitely more comfortable. (5/5)
by Rachel mills (Penicuik) on 30 May 2012I highly recommend female driving instructors I learnt with Christine and I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. I felt at ease every time we were out in the car and she also built up my confidence. I never felt under pressure nor did I feel like she was becoming agitated in any way. I miss having my lessons I used to look forward to going out in the car. When I passed my test Christine was also happy for me we had a good relationship and still have. I highly recommend fdi they are all friendly and supportive. (4/5)
by Anya Stevenson (Edinburgh) on 1 October 2009Initially the instructor was good, but as I became more confident, yet safe on the road, she became nervy, continually, attempting to interfere with my steering despite my practise outwith lessons meaning I had a good understanding on positioning. Did not appear to trust me behind the wheel, and her nervousness transposed onto me. (2/5)
