We found them to be very ceative designers and installed our new kitchen to a very high standard. We are very pleased with the final outcome. Our Kitchensplus designer continued to give us great design advice and guidance throughout the commission and this helped us with the finishing touches which have added to the enjoyment of working in our new kitchen. The design was innovative, and the quotations clear and well presented. All the work was carried out to a very high standard. The designer continued to give us design advice and guidance on decor etc throughout the commission. We felt completely safe dealing with this company, they accept all major credit cards and there terms of payment are completey acceptable. Thanks again. (4/5)
by Pete Blackhall (Edinburgh) on 8 June 2012It would appear that Mr Garbut was unfortunately dealing with a company called Trade Division Ltd which used the trading name of kitchens Plus while renting showroom space in Marchmont Road. Trade Division Ltd were removed from the premises in 2010 and no longer trade from Marchmont Road, their new location is unknown, but it is understood that the directors personally repaid Mr Garbutin full. The real kitchensplus was established by Pete Blackhall in 1982 and has over 30 years experience in the design, supply and installation of quality kitchen furniture. Homesplus Ltd which is the company which owns the showroom premises at 31-35 Marchmont Road has recently carried out an extensive renovation of the showrooms which now feature Newcastle Furniture Company bespoke furniture products and Nolte kitchens from Germany. by Aaron Garbut (Edinburgh) on 23 January 2010I paid a very large deposit for a kitchen.. I was promised it had been ordered, the date came for fitting and they didn't turn up. The kitchen had never been ordered from bulthuap and they had spent my deposit on business expenses. Its now several months later and they still owe me a large amount. Bulthuap will no longer deal with them so they have no way of providing the kitchen. I believe they are using other peoples deposits to slowly refund mine. Totally unprofessional, bordering on dishonest. (1/5)
