Was looking forward to this xmas meal for ages as I had been to the far pavilion Indian restaurant on several xmas occasions previously and it was very nice,this time however the starter came after half an our of ordering then a very very long 2and a half hours later the main meal came only to ask the waiter to heat up my tika masala as it was cold and they got the pizza wrong for my son,the second attempt and pizza wrong again so I asked to speak to the manager,after 10 - 15 minutes the manager came to ask what the problem was,as I gave him a large list he gave me the bill took 50per cent off (90 pound) I told him I would not be back but he didn't seem that bothered as I left I was very disappointed as it was a special day spoilt by lack of experience and no respect for the customers. Having eaten at The Far Pavilions the first time, we couldn't wait for a second, third and fourth opportunity to return. Since then we have been back many times. The interior decor is a lot better than your average Indian restaurant, added to which the service is very efficient and effective without being intrusive. Then we come to the food, I simply loved it! I am not a food critic but I really do know what I enjoy when it comes to Indian meals. This eatery has a quality and richness rarely found in Scotland. Eat at this place with confidence. (4/5)
