Booked the Mallard hotel for myself my husband and two young children , was emailed to advised they had an inter connecting room for us but when we arrived we were taken to a room with a single bed and a double and told we could sleep the girls top to tail I refused as we had originally booked an inter connecting room with a double bed and a set of bunks for the girls at £100 per night I was then told that this was the only room available and this room would also cost £100 per nite , they offered my youngest a zed bed which I accepted but what we were given was a ripped and discoloured baby cot mattress with badly stained bedding for her to sleep on the floor which I was disgusted by especially for what they were charging us per nite , I approched a member of staff regarding the mattress and bedding and was basically informed this was all that was available , still not happy I continued to complain about the bed for my youngest and the prices charged as it was NOT what we had originally agreed and I also had our youngest sleep in our bed as I refused to allow her to sleep on the floor , I would discourage anyone from booking in with them as I found them very unhelpful and I also feel that I have been done as I was still charged full price on leaving the premises.
