I was admited to ICU with seizures and diagnosed with blood clot in my brain. During my stay, I felt there is no better place to be with my condition. Thank you all guys

I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the WGH Edinburgh in 2005..... I had my operation, treatment and I am on a 10 year followup plan. Throughout all this I had a very high regard for the staff. Today I had to go to another hospital, because I have moved from the WGH area and had a referal from my new GP because I was having some 'boob' problems..... I have to say that I will be back to WGH even if I have to walk or travel on public transport, their treatment of their patients is second to none.

I have been admitted twice, once to ward 53 in 2009 and the other to ward 24 in may 2011. On both occasions I feel that my care was excellent - a big thank you to all the nurses for making my stay more bearable!

I would like to thank all the staff on Ward 50 for the care my mother received there. The quality of care has consistently been of the highest standard, and my mother felt safe and well cared for. All the staff were warm, attentive and good humoured contributing to her sense of well being.

I was a consultant cardiolologist at WGH 1954-1982 and have been an inpatient twice recently. I would much like to discuss my experience with a representative of the medical and/or nursing staff if that were possible.

I'm a regular at the Edinburgh cancer centre - in remission... and would like to extend a huge thanks to Shelia, Rita and Stuart oncologist specialist nurses for the excellent support and knowledge base they have provided through a difficult time to a very scared young man! Also a huge thanks to Dr.G Howard oncologist for his continued time in aiding my continued status of remission.

I was in the Infectious Diseases Unit for three weeks and left feeling much better. Staff were consistently good-humoured, patient and friendly, from senior doctors to the man on the tea trolley. I owe them all a big vote of thanks.
